*Restrains Nwaoboshi, Aides, Media from Calling Nwaoboshi Winner
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has restrained the embattled Senator representing Delta North district, Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi from parading himself as the winner of the recently conducted Primaries of the party in Delta North district. The court further restrained the Peoples Democratic Party and the INEC from recognizing Sen. Nwaoboshi as the winner of the election pending the hearing of a motion brought to it.
The court which also stopped the PDP from giving credence to the primary elections, further restrained the INEC from giving Nwaoboshi any recognition as the winner of the primary election. It also barred Sen. Nwaoboshi, his Aides, cronies, the media team or any proxy from parading or regarding the incumbent Senator as the winner of the purported pdp primary elections.
This ruling therefore sets aside the primary elections of the Party in the Delta North Senatorial District until the court hears the motion brought to it by the plaintiff.
The ruling further makes the Name of the Senatorial Candidate of the Delta North Senatorial District of PDP as submitted to INEC null and void.
