The organised labour has suspended its strike slated to start 28th September, 2020 over hike in fuel and electricity prices.
According to the twitter handle of the Hon. Minister of State, Labour and Employment , Festus Keyamo , SAN, @fkeyamo , Federal Government and Labour reached agreement at 2:53am , Monday , 28th September 2020.
Deregulation to stay as Government rolls out palliatives for labour( details in two weeks); Electricity tariffs suspended by Government for two weeks with joint Committee headed by @fkeyamo to examine the justification for the new policy .
Strike thus suspended.
