Nigerian national and sports advocator Prince Ned Nwoko has been honoured at the just concluded Polo Stallion Star Awards in Dubai. The former lawmaker was awarded the Polo Stallion Star Ambassador Award alongside the former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alh. Atiku Abubakar and 5 others.
The Polo Stallion Star Awards is said to be an internationally recognized mark of excellence celebrating polo players, enthusiasts and corporate organisations in the game of Polo
The Polo Stallion Star Awards is also given to the Patrons of Polo who are top executives of corporations and captains of industries who support education. The event began with a gala dinner, cocktail, as well as a display of the rich Middle East culture packaged in its Miss Polo International beauty pageant.
Other awardees include ; Mohammed Kahlaf Al Habtoor, Sheikha Maitha bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Herbert Wigwe, Adetokunbo Laoye (President Lagos Polo Club) and Prof Steve Azaiki.
