The 17 governors in the southern part of Nigeria is currently meeting at the Delta State Government House Asaba to fashion out best security architecture for the unity of the nation in the face of agitation for secession in the southern region.

It is expected that the meeting’s resolution today will create a flexible mix in the nation’s stability.
As a prelude to a successful meet, earlier the Hon. Commissioner, ministry of Science and Technology , Engr. Matthew Tsekiri today received the Governor of Ondo State, Oluwaroritimi Akeredolu ( SAN) and Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi at the Asaba International Airport at the instance of the executive Governor of Delta State , Sen. ( Dr.) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa .

There are nine Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors, seven All Progressives Congress ( APC) governors and one All Progressive Greand Alliance ( APGA) in the 17 states.
While it is a commendable feat to stabilize Nigeria, the 17 governors in the Southern part of the country will amongst other issues address insecurity and the call for secession.
Nigeria indeed remains the giant of Africa.
