The Director General of the Warri, Uvwie and Environs Special Area Development Agency (WUEDA), Hon. Prince Godwin Ejinyere says the agency is ready to restore environmental sanity to Warri, Uvwie and their environs.
He said the Agency is on a media familiarization tour as the fourth estate of the realm to garner support for adequate public sensitization for its task to beautify Warri , Uvwie and Environs to make it habitable for residents and business investors.
Hon. Prince Godwin Ejinyere stated this on Tuesday during a familiarization visit with his entourage at Mega Fm Warri ahead of the commencement of its task to beautify the city.
He explained that the first assignment of the Agency is to clean the city through clearing of dirts and desilting of blocked drains. He said the agency is set to restore cleanliness and develop warri, Uvwie and environs.
In his statement, he said “In line with the Governor’s M.O.R.E. agenda, we can only attract investors when there is meaningful peace , development and when the environment is clean. Cleanliness is next to Godliness “ he said.
Prince Ejinyere emphasized that cleanliness start with the individual and sensitizing the people on the need to keep warri , Uvwie and environs clean with punitive measures in place is key to enforce sanity as he embarks on an all encompassing development trust for the area.
The General Manager, Lady Dew Jemima Wilson and management of the establishment acknowledged media collaboration with the Agency to restore the glory of Warri , Uvwie and Environs.
