Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko honoured with the humanitarian award
by the NUJ DBS Asaba Chapel Media Week, 2018
The Vice Chairman of the Okowa Campaign Organisation , Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko has bagged a humanitarian award from the NIgerian Union of Jornalists Delta Broadcasting Service, Asaba Chapel .
This was made known today during the occasion of the 2018 Media Week held in Asaba, Delta State.
Receiving the award on his behalf, Hon Ned Nwoko's historian, Dr. Emmanuel Opia said the award was meant to applaud the Awardee for his numerous achievements and magnanimous philanthropic life style.

Describing Hon. Ned Nwoko, he said the star Prince of Anioma for the love of his , people sold his private jet to secure the refund of the Paris Club Fund which was paid recently to the 774 local governments workers that have been indebted to for some months.
Dr. Opia said that as a true Anioma son, he went ahead to set up the STARS university, an institution of higher learning with the intention of producing Anioma youths who would turn out to be tomorrow's Kanu Nwankwo, Ronaldo and Mikel Obi.

He went ahead to say that with the consciousness of our plight in the hands of the British, and in a bid to secure the safety of Anioma's culture and artist work, Prince Ned Nwoko built a cultural ediface
where the real identity and culture of Anioma land was kept.
While reading out the citation of Prince Nwoko, he said Prince Nwoko's benevolent act amongst which were the recent 100 million naira fund given to rehabilitate the Onicha Ugbo - Idumuje Ugboko road and others which were countless earned him the award.
He went further to say that the award would spur the Anioma Prince to do more in the development of Delta North and Delta state at large.
